Sonic Summerstock Playhouse 12.2: Algiers

The Narada Radio Company returns for their seventh smash summer, with the first of two old-time radio remakes. Director Pete Lutz presents an extended adaptation of Lux Radio Theatre’s ALGIERS- the story of French jewel thief Pepe Le Moko, who evades capture by hiding in plain sight, in the maze-like Casbah district. When he meets the beautiful Gabrielle, he begins to hate his surroundings — and realizes that he has made his own prison within these ancient walls.

Every day there is released classic Mutual Broadcasting Network’s amazing shows and this week in preparation for next week’s Sonic Summerstock Playhouse we present a double-feature from Sunday Showcase with the Mutual Radio Theater and “The Store Keeper” hosted by Canadian Lorne Green and “Our Man on Omega” hosted by Andy Griffith!
