Classic Sonic Society #8: Right Number, Wrong Party

Prologue: Mel Rose talks about her love affair with Sonic Cinema Productions as we release our first show on Sonic Society!
Episode #8 Aired: 10/25/2005 This week we travel back to a little familiar ground. Three years ago, the Shadowlands Theatre Players completed work on their first project. It was a classically plotted story of audio suspense. In the tradition of Lucille Fletcher’s triumph “Sorry, Wrong Number”, Jack Ward wrote a script centred around a single phone call received by the wrong person. Stand by for the thriller “Right Number, Wrong Party”. Later we’ll have a conversation with some of the cast of the Shadowlands Theatre Players, listen to a sketch from Montage Theatre, and continue our weekly serial Robots of the Company with Episode #8.

Darker Musings Anthology: The Water is Always Bluer

Sonic Cinema brings Darker Musings which is an anthology series of fantastical mystery and terror. Inspired by Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone, Darker Musings always includes an air of another world that may be an alternate universe, or a terrifying nightmare, one in which the characters can not wake up. Darker Musings may not always be horror, but it should always leave you thinking!
In this Darker Musings episode, four women have their monthly book club meeting and their world will never be the same. Written and directed by Jack J. Ward. Produced by Austin Beach and starring Jessica Kinney, Mel Rose, Angela Young, Jeffrey Billard, Joe Stofko and introducing Jennifer Tissot.
