Donate with Us for Jon

Jonithan Patrick Russell is an innovator, an artist, and one of the genuine creative writers who created something out of nothing. While many folks never heard of Audio Drama or Audio Fiction, or even Radio Drama, in the early aughts, Jon was making it. He was a mainstay of the early Sonic Society shows with the groundbreaking “Robotz of the Company” and his company Dream Realm Enterprises.
His wife Kimberly writes: Jon has been fighting cancer and other medical issues for well over a year now. His doctor says he has beaten cancer, but is still fighting other medical issues. With the economy in shambles currently and no ability to work or earn money, it’s been so very hard to stay afloat. As much as we hate to ask for more help, we have little choice. Any donation will be of help no matter how small. We seek only enough to get through this tough time we find ourselves in. So, if you have the ability to help, we will be eternally grateful for any you can provide, even if it is merely to share this GoFundMe effort with others. Thank you, and God Bless You!

So from all of us here at Sonic Society and Mutual, if you have something to donate. Please do so. Here’s his Go Fund Me Jon to donate for his continued health.

Keep At It!

thekeepAs we continue in the NADSWRIM challenge for the year of Audio Scripts, we at the Society would like to highlight some projects that are worth supporting. As we move into getting more folks into experiencing the wonder of the Audio World, consider The Keep Official Audio Drama from the novel by F. Paul Wilson.

From the Gofundme project:

What is The Keep?
In 1981 author F Paul Wilson released his novel The Keep. The Keep tells the story of a platoon of German soldiers during WWII occupying a small fortress in the Romanian mountains. Unknown to them, they have released an ancient evil from deep within its walls, the only few who may be able to solve the mystery and stop the slaughter of the soldiers are a crippled Jewish professor, his daughter and a mysterious stranger.

Now go out there and help get another great project off the ground!
