John always does stirling quality work! Well done everyone 🙂
Thank you so much for a very well produced and presented recreation of the Dragnet radio series. I was alive during the time that Dragnet/TV was presented and I spoke with Jack Webb during a high school assignment. He was as direct as Friday; but became a little kinder when he realized I was a nervous 10th grader who adored his work.
I really enjoyed hearing the ‘New York accents’ and voice characters. It was wonderful. By the way the last surviving member of Dragnet radio series is Harry Morgan in his 90s. In some of the early Dragnet radio series Harry was a criminal once or twice and he ended up being Webb’s partner on TV and on M*A*S*H. If you want to hear them, along with fag commercials, check out http://www.archive.org and look up Dragnet radio episodes.
Again keep up the great work we are listening with all ears and just getting the facts.
Nobody seems to notice that the music was screwed up in the first half (up to the first commercial). The DOM DE DOM DOM was supposed to hit IMMEDIATELY after the last sentence in each scene…but apparently I accidentally moved it over about a second late. Now that HUGE PAUSE sits there like a YAWNING CAVERN of ENDLESS TIME!!!
So… If I sent in a corrected version, is it too late to re-upload?
ARRRGGG

Could you send it when I return? I’m still on the road and its hard to upload! I should be back by the middle of the month!
