When Tim Heffernan of Dramapod fame contacted us to talk about his new exciting project- that being the remake of the website to a comprehensive collection of Audio Drama Feeds, albums, and shows hosted by The Dramapod we were thrilled! Imagine all the productions out there that still haven’t found an RSS Feed or a place to disseminate amongst the masses. After our discussion, I considered how we could be involved.
For many years, fans of the Sonic Society and Electric Vicuña Productions have asked us to provide a separate feed of EVP’s original work.
So here’s our chance. Every Wednesday, check the new Electric Vicuña Podcast feed for a re-release of our shows chronologically in time. Who knows, maybe even Gate will be done by then? Please join us for Wednesday’s EVP releases on the new feed from Dramapod!

Do you have problem with getting the volume just right? Check out The Audio Producer’s Guide To Loudness by Rob Byers.
Jeff Towne gives us a great intro about this article:
We all know the experience – listening to the radio or watching TV, a loud commercial jumps out, sending you grabbing for the volume control. Or conversely, your favorite program is too quiet leading you to crank up the volume, even though you know louder levels will startle you as the next program starts. Variations in program levels have been a problem for public radio stations, and now the public radio world is attempting to even out this difference by implementing a new loudness standard. Adhering to this standard will soon be required when submitting programs to the Public Radio Satellite System’s ContentDepot, PRX, and other organizations, and it’s also just a good tool for making sure your mixes keep a steady level.
ZBS and Tim Clark present a full recreated Ruby The Adventures of the Galactic Gumshoe.
Download this amazing eighties series. ZBS’s website clarifies the release which has just gone nuts on BOING BOING.
ZBS:
Tim didn’t actually change the music, he enhanced it. When Ruby was produced in 1981, we had synthesizers but not computers, not the marvelous musical instruments that can be called forth whenever one desires. Tim kept the original Ruby music and added to it, gave it more zip, more zap, more punch, more pizzazz. He gave Ruby a new life.
