2016 MARK TIME AWARDS OPEN FOR SUBMISSION UNTIL APRIL 30TH
The 2016 Mark Time Awards are given in recognition of the best audio theatre productions in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and mystery/detective. As a legacy project of the Firesign Theatre, the awards encourage creative use of the audio arts medium which includes writing, voice performance, sound effects, acoustic environments, musical underscoring, and technological accomplishment. The finalists will be announced May 10th online and the winners will be a presented at the 2016 HearNow Festival, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born to Teachers and Amateur Audio Enthusiasts in the small rural community of Belwood, Jack's first love was stories- writing, reading, telling, and singing. He developed his acting skills through High School, University, and through film and community theatre.
