
Summerstock Playhouse returns for the last call of Pete Lutz and his Narada Radio Company Players for season 14 as they present the NBC crime thriller “The Petrified Forest” originally featuring the iconic Humphrey Bogart.

In our second Act of our Midpoint Summer special, Peter Beeston and the incredible Cornucopia Radio, produce their adaptation of the classic episode of ESCAPE from the original novel by Hammond Innes. Join us in this world Internet premiere!

Summerstock Playhouse presents a special double-feature to kick off our midpoint of entertainment! Beginning Act One with our second grand evening of Pete Lutz and his Narada Radio Company Players. This week they present “You Can’t Take it With You” first performed on the Lux Radio Theatre broadcast, October 2nd, 1939 from the Pulitzer prize winning play.

This week host David returns with a Summerstock favourite- Pete Lutz brings in the crowds with the Narada Radio Company‘s extended triumph, “Of Mice and Men” from the BBC production of their Afternoon Play!

This week host David returns with Suspense! from the Suspense Radio Show with John Alsedek as the producer. Our feature tonight is “Who Goes There”. An Antarctic research expedition finds something frozen deep in the ice cap…something that is still alive…

This week host David returns with more science fiction to the Summerstock stage with “Syndrome Johnny” a Tales of Tomorrow classic never before performed and brought by Project Audion and Larry Groebe, starring Trevor Rines, Tim Burns, Greg McAfee, Rhianno McAfee, Gary Layton, and our own Jack Ward!

This week host David brings us the Shadow Recreation Society with “The Golden Deceiver”… The Prospector’s are finding gold in them mountains! Carl Murray, an old-timey prospector, finds a good amount of gold; he is charmed by the beautiful and lovely Rita Karen, a singer at the “Lucky-Seven” Tavern. Little does Murray know; she has been helping Vince Regan, a two-timer barkeeper, in taking the profits for themselves…

For our final act this week, The Narada Radio Company returns with their third and final Summerstock production for this year, Lux Radio Theatre’s adaptation of “Les Miserables” – the non-musical version originally broadcast in December, 1952. Join familiar characters Jean Valjean, his nemesis Javert, and all of the colorful characters from Victor Hugo’s tragic story, under the direction of Pete Lutz.

David Ault returns for our penultimate week for the Summerstock 2022 season beginning our first act with Rachel Pulliam’s Sole Twin Audio and “Rope”!
