Born to Teachers and Amateur Audio Enthusiasts in the small rural community of Belwood, Jack's first love was stories- writing, reading, telling, and singing. He developed his acting skills through High School, University, and through film and community theatre.
Jack writes the lion's share of Sonic Cinema Production's (previously Electric Vicuna) Audio Drama scripts and has his own writing site at www.jackjward.com. Jack also is the middle of book writing, screenplay production, and is the CEO of the Mutual Audio Network- where he and the best people in the world Listen & Imagine, Together!.
He's thrilled to co-host the Sonic Society with his wonderful, talented, friend David Ault as they enter their second decade in the medium!
This week on the Sonic Society Jack and David focus on the two first episodes of Witchever Path which is an anthology series where your decisions effect the story. The stories are based in America’s North East, featuring characters finding themselves in the thick of the unknown while tackling issues like queer identity, gender, race, and spirituality.
This week on the Sonic Society Jack and David present a trip back to swinging London in the early 1970s and meet Roy Steel, ex – big game hunter, and Lorrimer Chesterfield, a brain in the shape of a man. Together they are The Monster Hunters from Definitely Human Productions. Their mission: to protect the country from vampires, werewolves and a whole pantheon of unmentionable terrors and the pilot of Nowhere, On Air from Jessica Syratt! Semi-late night community radio broadcasts from a strange little town in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta (aka, not just the middle of nowhere, but nowhere itself). Nothing ever happens here. Certainly nothing weird. Why would you even suggest that? If you like mysteries, conspiracies, the absurd, and Canadians, Braedon, Alberta might be the place for you! It’s Audio Drama Time!
