Showcasing the very best in new Audio Drama

Raise the Prince!

Yesterday I was walking through Halifax and stopped at a local landmark- Strange Adventures Comic Store. Great place. Super selection. Super people… and here’s an example why.

At the front of the store is a collection box for Prince Valiant.

You see, Hal Foster, the creator of the amazing Prince Valiant comic series that STILL appears weekly in more than 300 papers was born here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Haligonians are trying to raise the money to have a bronze statue down by the harbour where Hal grew up of Valiant!

According to the shop owner of Strange Adventures, they’ve raised 2500 dollars. The local Foundries have promised to make the statue at cost, which means we need $25000 total to have Prince Valiant raised in Halifax for people to come see!

What better way to show our admiration for a great storyteller who added so beautifully to the Arthurian mythos and have entertained generations through his beautifully depicted adventure tales.

PLEASE give, and give generously. Let us RAISE THE PRINCE.

ALL Proceeds go directly to raising the Prince in Halifax, Nova Scotia and honouring the name of Hal Foster!
